Who this is about

LaunchVet is a launch-readiness checkup for apps built with tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0 and Cursor. This draft describes what the current product stores. A lawyer needs to name the legal entity, the Australian Business Number, and a contact address before this page is published.

What we collect

• The URL you ask us to check, and the final URL if it redirects.
• The checkup result: grade, score, and findings. Secret values are redacted before they are saved. We keep a short hint and the file name, not the key itself.
• The email address you type in to unlock the full report.
• A hash of your IP address, used only to rate-limit the scanner. We do not store the raw IP in the scan record.

What we do not collect

We do not log into the app. We do not send Supabase, Firebase or other database credentials anywhere, and we do not read customer rows. We do not buy mailing lists. We do not sell emails.

Why we collect it

To run the checkup you asked for, to show you the report, to limit abuse of the scanner, and to contact you about that report once email delivery exists. The Australian Privacy Principles are the standard this draft is aiming at. Whether LaunchVet is an APP entity, and which lawful basis applies, is for the reviewing lawyer to confirm.

How long we keep it

Scan records and the emails attached to them are deleted after 30 days. That window is implemented in the app and should be restated here once a lawyer agrees it is the right one.

Cookies

Unlocking a report sets an httpOnly cookie so the same browser can see the full findings. It is not an advertising cookie. It lasts 30 days.

Access and contact

There is no public inbox yet. Until a lawyer adds a contact method, the only address we hold is the one you type into a checkup. Do not send personal information to a guessed email address on a domain we have not published.
